Guide for the healthiest aquarium

Are you a new pet owner? With a new pet? Maybe a... Fish? Here are the guidelines for you for the healthiest aquarium and guide for the best care of a fish!!!

Do not place too many fish in the aquarium:

Overpopulation causes stress in fish and in case of illness it will spread rapidly.

Avoid overfeeding:

Food that will not be consumed can cause infection in the aquarium or even harm the fish due to mold.

Avoid inadequate feeding:

Fish that do not eat properly do not have a strong immune system to fight an illness.

Variety of food:

If you have variety in fish food they get all the vitamins they need.

Not much noise and traffic:

Fish are sensitive organisms for this and they scare quite easily. In the place where the aquarium is located, it would be good if there was not much noise and movement, such as it would be over a TV (on a shelf) or next to a radio, etc. Anything that disturbs the quiet of the room where they are located may be so frightening that can lead them even to death. So an idea to place the aquarium in a quiet place is to put it in a quiet corner of your home.

Avoid smoking near the aquarium:

When you smoke, put cosmetics such as hairspray, cologne, etc. near your aquarium, they contaminate the water through the air pump of your aquarium. It is best not to smoke in the same room as the aquarium.

Maintaining a clean aquarium:

Change your aquarium daily by making frequent water changes and maintenance on the filter.

Remove sick and dead fish from your aquarium immediately:

Putting the sick fish in quarantine does not spread the disease to all the fish in the aquarium. While removing the dead fish we avoid the high levels of ammonia. Remove dead fish as soon as possible to prevent the spread of disease or even depression to other fish.

Do not change water conditions abruptly:

Do not change the water conditions abruptly as this will stress the fish and cause mortality.
